About Misty
15 Years of Patterns. One Life-Changing Discovery.
What if the way you identify yourself is more influential than you've ever been taught to believe?
I didn't come into this work through theory.
I came into it through lived experience.
MY STORY
For most of my life, I understood myself very clearly.
I grew up as an only child, and my mom worked two jobs to make ends meet. I spent a lot of time alone — and over the years, I became very aware of my own thoughts, patterns, and sense of identity.
Then I got married and took on my husband’s last name, as most women do.
Within a year, I noticed something I couldn’t fully explain.
Internally, I didn’t feel the same.
Certain parts of me felt less accessible. My friends even began saying, “You’re not the same person.” And they were right. I couldn’t explain what had changed, only that something within my sense of self felt unfamiliar.
Over time, I began to see something consistent:
"Small details in expression, handwriting, and identity often reflected deeper patterns in how people make decisions, relate to themselves, and move through life."
I spent years trying to understand what had shifted.
Eventually, I went through a divorce and returned to my maiden name. And over time, something unexpected happened again.
I began to notice the return of a version of myself I thought I had lost.
Not all at once but gradually, pieces of myself began to return. My sense of self felt accessible again.
That experience led me into years of deep study in handwriting analysis, graphology, and pattern recognition in identity and behavior.
At the same time, I was working in new home sales — where I spent years observing thousands of people write their names, sign documents, and make decisions in real time. It became an unexpected but powerful classroom for understanding human patterns and behavior.
This work became a 15-year exploration of identity, behavior, and transformation. It’s now what I call Letterology.
THE EVOLUTION
FROM HANDWRITING SOUL ACADEMY TO Graphology and Letterology
This work evolved from my earlier study of handwriting and identity, previously known as Handwriting Soul Academy.
Over time, I began to hear something consistent from the people I worked with:
"This is so much more than handwriting."
And they were right.
What I was exploring was never just about handwriting itself. It was always pointing to something deeper — identity, patterns in letters, emotional expression, and the way we unconsciously shape our lives.
As the work deepened, it naturally evolved into a more expansive system that I now call Graphology and Letterology — a system focused on identity alignment, patterns within letters, and self-discovery.
It was never just handwriting. It was identity. It was alignment. It was patterns in letters.
Today, this work continues under my name, Misty Cogdill, as part of a deeper exploration into identity, alignment, and remembering who we truly are.
MISSION STATEMENT
"Our mission is to help people awaken to who they truly are — beneath the layers of patterns, conditioning, and inherited identity — so they can reconnect with their deeper sense of self and allow what has always been within them to emerge."
As awareness grows, old patterns begin to fall away. Clarity returns. And life becomes something you are actively creating — rather than unconsciously repeating.
We believe this is how people return to themselves — and begin living with intention, meaning, and alignment.
